Ethereum Breaks $2,600 as Analyst's Prediction Comes to Life
The price of Ethereum ($ETH) has broken through the $2,600 mark, confirming the predictions made by certified technical analyst Aksel Kibar (CMT, TechCharts). This move comes after a prolonged period of sideways trading between $1,800 and $2,000. According to Kibar, this breakout is just the beginning, and Ethereum needs to maintain its momentum to confirm a global trend reversal.
Kibar predicted this scenario in mid-August, setting an intermediate target at $2,163, which has now been exceeded. However, he warns that it's too early to celebrate and cautions against any hesitation at current highs, as this could send the price back into the sluggish trading range.
The asset is currently undergoing a stress test as the market enters a crucial follow-through phase. If Ethereum manages to hold firmly above $2,550 without deep pullbacks, this level will become a solid foothold for further growth and testing the sustainability of the new higher range.
