Ethereum Breaks Above Key Resistance Zone, Targets $2,760
Ethereum's price prediction has seen a surge in momentum after analyst Ali Martinez confirmed a breakout above $2,560 on September 20. The retest of this level as support and subsequent continuation higher have set the stage for the next major target: $2,760.
Danny Crypton, however, warned that a move towards $2,670 could be a bull trap, leading to deeper declines towards $1,800 and $1,500. The Great Mattsby pointed out that the 2019 bottom fractal is playing out perfectly so far, projecting ETH could reach $40,000+ if the pattern continues.
The disagreement among analysts is now concentrated around what the break above $2,560 means. One interpretation treats the successful retest as confirmation that former resistance has become support, while another argues that a move into $2,670 could still represent a failed breakout.
