Ethereum Breaks Out of Bull-Flag Pattern, But Faces Crucial Resistance
Ethereum (ETH) has finally broken out of its bull-flag pattern at $2,660, shifting focus towards upside targets near $3,050. However, the rally faces a critical test at the $2,800 resistance level.
The token traded near $2,675 on Thursday after being knocked back below $2,700 once earlier in the week by leveraged long liquidations amid rising Treasury yields and a stronger dollar.
Analysts see $2,550 as the pivotal level, with a weekly close above it opening the path towards $3,000. A sustained close above $2,800 would confirm the breakout toward $3,050 to $3,445, while a break below $2,560 would weaken the setup and a fall under $2,350 would invalidate it entirely.
