Ethereum Breaks Year-Long Pattern with Higher High
Ethereum has broken a year-long pattern by printing a higher high, surpassing its August 2025 record high of $4,957.
This milestone marks the first time in over a year that ETH has achieved this feat. The former resistance zone around $2,438 has now turned into support, as evidenced by the price reaching $2,807 this week.
Crypto analyst Benjamin Cowen notes that Ethereum has returned to its long-term logarithmic regression band, indicating a potential return to historical trend. He also mentions that corporate treasuries continue to add ETH, which could have a positive impact on the market.
However, despite this bullish development, there is still reason for caution. The daily chart shows a bearish divergence in the RSI (Relative Strength Index), indicating that momentum may be waning. Additionally, trading volume is falling, and if ETH drops below $2,440, it could expose the 1,950-2,000 area.
