Ethereum Claims 52.85% of Tokenized RWA Market Value

The tokenized real-world assets (RWA) market has seen significant growth in recent months, and Ethereum is dominating this space. According to data from rwa.xyz, as of early June 2026, Ethereum held approximately $16.6 billion in distributed tokenized RWA value, representing a whopping 52.85% of the entire on-chain RWA market.

This figure grew to around $17.3 billion by early August 2026, but Ethereum's percentage share dipped to around 45-46% as competing chains absorbed a portion of the overall market expansion. The total distributed RWA value across all chains had surged to $38 billion by this time.

Ethereum's year-over-year growth for RWA reached an impressive 315%, far surpassing its competitors. BNB Chain and Solana reported $3.6 billion and $2.5 billion in RWA value, respectively, but still lagged significantly behind Ethereum.

The dominance of Ethereum can be attributed to the presence of institutional players such as BlackRock's BUIDL fund, which chose Ethereum as the primary deployment chain for its tokenized money market fund. Franklin Templeton has also deployed tokenized fund products on the network.
