Ethereum Dominates Security and Liquidity, Says SharpLink CEO
SharpLink's treasury strategy has raised over $3 billion since its inception, with holdings peaking at approximately 860,000 to 890,000 Ethereum. This makes the company the second-largest holder globally and close to full staking.
Cheif executive Joseph Chalom emphasized that Ethereum excels in security, trust, and liquidity. He views these as essential thresholds for institutional adoption rather than mere slogans. 'Ethereum has over a decade of uptime, more than 900,000 validators, and deeper liquidity for stablecoins and tokenized assets.'
Chalom highlighted the difference between exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and treasury companies. ETFs must provide daily liquidity, while treasury companies hold permanent capital that can exchange longer lock-up periods for risk-adjusted on-chain returns.
