Ethereum ETF Inflows Outpace Bitcoin Outflows Amid Price Resilience
Ethereum's spot ETFs saw significant inflows in September, diverging from the outflows experienced by U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs. Between September 8 and 11, Ethereum ETFs recorded $197.11 million in net inflows, while Bitcoin ETFs lost $462.73 million during the same period. BlackRock's ETHA led these inflows with $139.94 million, followed by ETHB at $55.2 million and ETHW at $29.09 million.
The contrast between Ethereum and Bitcoin ETFs is striking, with Ethereum experiencing a significant boost to its monthly totals on September 11, when it brought in $216.41 million in net inflows. This momentum has been building since April, with institutional migration towards lower-cost investment vehicles playing a key role. BlackRock's ETHA has accumulated approximately $11.4 billion in net inflows since its launch.
The Ethereum price has shown resilience near key levels, trading at $2,703.62 on September 21, a 5.10% increase from the previous day. However, this still represents a 45% decline from the all-time high of August 24, 2025. The battle for momentum is ongoing in the $2,400 to $2,200 range, where demand must overpower supply to trigger a move.
