Ethereum ETF Inflows Surpass Bitcoin as Capital Flows Towards ETH
Ethereum ETF inflows have surpassed Bitcoin's in a significant shift of capital towards Ethereum products. The September data shows that US spot Ethereum ETFs attracted $445 million in net capital, exceeding the $467 million Bitcoin ETFs pulled in during the same period.
The Bitcoin ETF market experienced a $463 million outflow between September 8 and 11, effectively erasing the massive $731 million single-day inflow from September 3. This redirected a significant amount of capital towards Ethereum products.
Ethereum ETFs maintained momentum through the middle of the month, with BlackRock's ETHA product driving much of this growth. On September 11 alone, it added $148.8 million, while Fidelity's FETH recorded an inflow of $4.81 million and Morgan Stanley's MSSE added $2.34 million.
This momentum follows a breakout month in August when Ethereum ETFs saw $1.75 billion in net inflows, their strongest monthly performance in a year. However, the initial surge in Ethereum ETF inflows appears to be tapering off, with a $39.2445 million net outflow on September 17.
