The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved the launch of Ethereum Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), a move that could boost crypto adoption. Anthony Pompliano, CEO of Professional Capital Management, shared his thoughts on CNBC's Squawk Box.

Pompliano praised Bitcoin ETFs' impact, calling it 'probably the best ETF launch in history.' He noted that the BlackRock Bitcoin ETF has had more inflows than QQQ year-to-date, with nearly $500 million flowing into BTC products yesterday alone.

However, Pompliano doesn't expect Ethereum ETFs to match this success. He believes it's due to a lack of narrative around Ethereum, which he sees as a 'technology platform' with 'a lot more competition.'

Pompliano thinks that some investors might see ETH ETFs as a diversification play, which could attract new capital. Nevertheless, he warns that inflows won't match Bitcoin's levels.
