Ethereum ETFs Suffer $24M Outflow After Record Inflows
Ethereum ETFs experienced a significant outflow of $24.29 million on September 8, following two weeks of record inflows totaling over $1 billion. This sudden change in investor sentiment is notable, but it's worth noting that the outflow represents only about 3% of the peak week's inflows.
The majority of this outflow came from Grayscale's funds, which have a history of outflows. BlackRock's and Fidelity's Ethereum ETFs, however, remained stable or gained assets. The price of Ethereum remained above $2,500, indicating no immediate change in investor sentiment.
This single-day outflow may be more of a temporary pause than a reversal in institutional demand. Future flows and price movements will clarify whether this is a trend change or just a normal fluctuation.
