Ethereum Foundation Adds SEAL 911 Co-Founder to Board
The Ethereum Foundation has added Pascal Caversaccio, co-founder of the crypto emergency response group SEAL 911, to its board. This move signals a deeper institutional commitment to privacy and security as the organization navigates a leaner operational structure.
Caversaccio joined the board on July 29 for an initial one-year voluntary term, serving alongside President Aya Miyaguchi, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, and Swiss legal counsel Patrick Storchenegger. The board is responsible for setting the Foundation's long-term vision and ensuring that management's strategy and decisions remain aligned with its core values.
Caversaccio brings direct incident-response experience to the governance level of the Ethereum ecosystem. His technical work includes creating a smart contract deployment framework called CreateX, and he has also maintained resources documenting historical smart contract attacks and recovery methods.
