Ethereum Foundation Bolsters Governance with Blockchain Security Expert Pascal Caversaccio

The Ethereum Foundation has strengthened its governance by appointing Pascal Caversaccio to its Board of Directors for a one-year voluntary period. Caversaccio, an expert in blockchain security and privacy, will bring his expertise to the board along with Vitalik Buterin, Aya Miyaguchi, and Patrick Storchenegger.

Caversaccio has extensive experience in running organizations, having co-founded and led SEAL 911, a cryptocurrency emergency response program. He also published 'The Ethereum Cypherpunk Manifesto' in 2024 and 'Ethereum Privacy: The Road to Self-Sovereignty' in 2025.

The appointment of Caversaccio further emphasizes the Foundation's dedication to security and privacy, which is a key aspect of the Ethereum network. His experience with SEAL 911 will provide valuable incident response knowledge to the governance without altering the decentralized decision-making process.
