Ethereum Foundation Bolsters Governance with New Security Expert

The Ethereum Foundation has strengthened its governance structure by adding pcaversaccio to its board of directors. This security specialist, who will serve a voluntary one-year term, brings expertise in cybersecurity and code auditing to the table.

pcaversaccio co-founded the SEAL 911 emergency initiative and previously served on the Silviculture Society advisory group. The new director's focus will be on evaluating executive team decisions against long-term security priorities and guiding resource allocations in protocol development.

The board of directors now consists of four members: Vitalik Buterin, Aya Miyaguchi, Patrick Storchenegger, and pcaversaccio. This appointment is part of the Ethereum Foundation's efforts to consolidate its foundational principles of neutrality, privacy, and censorship resistance.
