Ethereum Foundation Releases Comprehensive EIP Evaluations for Upcoming Hegotá Upgrade

The Ethereum Foundation has released a comprehensive evaluation of 62 proposed EIPs (Ethereum Improvement Proposals) as part of the upcoming Hegotá upgrade. The evaluations were conducted by a team of researchers, engineers, and experts from Protocol Cluster's nine constituent teams. According to the foundation, approximately 60 individuals participated in the review process, submitting 397 ratings and engaging in discussions on contentious proposals.

The evaluations are intended to provide context for the development of the Hegotá upgrade and help determine its scope. The Ethereum Foundation has set a goal to achieve quantum resistance for Ethereum's Layer 1 (L1) by December 2029.
