Ethereum Hits Record 25.9 TPS in Q2 as Transactions Soar
Ethereum's Layer-1 network has reached new highs in usage, despite a decline in monthly active users. The platform processed over 203 million transactions during Q2 2026, up 68.4% from the same period last year.
Average throughput also hit a record high of 25.9 transactions per second, according to Token Terminal data. Fees climbed 31.6% to $52.5 million, while ETH burn revenue more than doubled to $17.1 million.
Ethereum's tokenized asset market averaged $203.1 billion in Q2, with stablecoins accounting for $176.8 billion and tokenized funds reaching $20.8 billion. The platform retained the largest share of stablecoins and tokenized funds among leading chains.
