Ethereum Mainnet Move Paved for Trueo Prediction-Market Platform
Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, has praised Trueo as it prepares to move from Base to the Ethereum mainnet.
The prediction-market platform aims to support broader integrations and adoption by making this shift.
Trueo launched on Base in March 2025 as an environment for early experimentation due to higher Ethereum gas costs at the time, but now seeks a more suitable home for its plans of becoming widely adopted, broadly integrated, fully permissionless, mostly immutable, and highly credible.
Ethereum's network effects and global integrations make it a better fit for Trueo's goals. The project has prioritized building liquidity in major market categories and releasing the next version of its oracle, which helps resolve market outcomes by processing evidence from legitimate data sources.
