Ethereum Outpaces XRP with 71% Quarterly Surge

Ethereum and XRP have been experiencing differing fortunes in recent times. Ethereum has seen an impressive 71% increase over the past 90 days, reaching around $2,711. Meanwhile, XRP has risen about 46% to $1.51.

The gap between these two cryptocurrencies may be narrowing fast, with both experiencing similar growth rates of about 40% in the last two months. Ethereum built its lead over XRP in July, when it jumped about 22% from roughly $1,560 to $1,910.

XRP needs a significant increase of about 142% to reach its all-time high of $3.65, while Ethereum requires a smaller jump of about 82% to regain its peak of $4,946.
