Ethereum Poised to Outshine Bitcoin as Tokenization and AI Drive Growth
Tom Lee, co-founder of Fundstrat and chairman of BitMine, believes Ethereum will significantly outperform Bitcoin in the coming years.
The next major catalyst for $ETH could be larger than previous forces that drove crypto cycles, according to Lee.
The Ethereum-to-Bitcoin ($ETH/$BTC) ratio is a key signal for the broader cryptocurrency market, and it has been rising. At press time, the ratio stood at 0.02994 and was moving above a long-term downtrend that had constrained Ethereum against Bitcoin over the past several years.
Lee views the growing use of Ethereum for tokenization and agentic-AI applications as a positive trend for $ETH. He also thinks that Wall Street's increasing adoption of blockchain networks, including the potential for tokenized stocks, bonds, funds, and other real-world assets, will drive demand for Ethereum-based infrastructure.
