Ethereum Price Could Hit $6,000 on Bitcoin Rally
Crypto analyst Tom Lee believes Ethereum could reach $6,000 in price if Bitcoin's value continues to rise.
According to Lee, Ethereum will perform well regardless of market conditions, but passage of a CLARITY Act would significantly boost its performance. He cites four catalysts for this potential surge: sidelined capital waiting out the four-year cycle until October, Ethereum's 54% gain compared to gold's 13%, single-digit stock returns, and a coming institutional fear-of-missing-out (FOMO) wave if Ethereum remains the best-performing asset past September 30.
In addition, Lee points out that Ethereum could exceed its year-to-date highs on the ETH/BTC ratio, potentially reaching 0.04. At a $150,000 Bitcoin price, this would put Ethereum near $6,000, a figure he calls conservative given the ratio's prior high of 0.08.
