Ethereum's price dropped to $1,874 on Tuesday, down 2.8% over 24 hours after failing to break above $1,929 and losing the $1,900 handle.

The reversal was likely due to risk reduction ahead of Wednesday's US inflation print rather than any specific issue with Ethereum itself.

Ethereum staking participation reached a record high at 41.41 million ETH, equal to 33.98% of circulating supply, as exchange-held supply continues to decline and corporate treasury holdings rise.
