Ethereum's price fell by 1.91% on Monday to $1,839, following last week's broader market decline.

The cryptocurrency is currently trading below its recent consolidation range of $1,870-$1,900.

To regain momentum and reach the key near-term weekly recovery target of $2,000, Ethereum needs to break above this range.

The CLARITY Act's fate remains uncertain as it faces a critical 72-hour window before the Senate recess starts on August 10.

In related news, Ethereum spot ETFs recorded $9.03 million in net inflows on July 31, with BlackRock's ETHB leading daily inflows at $15.38 million.
