Ethereum Price Faces $2,700 Resistance Amid Oil Market Volatility

Ethereum's price declined by 1.5% on September 28 to around $2,665 as oil prices rose following a setback in US-Iran talks.

The price remained above its daily moving averages but showed weak trend strength below $2,700 on the 4-hour chart.

Vitalik Buterin described Hegota, planned for 2027, as Ethereum's likely last 'normal' fork. The upgrade will involve recursive STARKs and more efficient consensus.
