Ethereum Price Predictions Fall Short as Experts Doubt $6,000 Target

Ethereum has seen significant gains since June 30, increasing by 60% and making it one of the top-performing assets globally.

Wall Street strategist Tom Lee predicts Ethereum will hit $6,000 by December, but this seems unlikely to many experts.

Lee believes two conditions must be met for his prediction: Bitcoin reaching $150,000 and the Ethereum-to-Bitcoin ratio increasing from 0.03 to 0.04.

Bitcoin is currently trading at around $77,000, making it highly unlikely that it will nearly double in value within just two months.

The Kalshi online prediction market estimates there's only a 5% chance of Bitcoin reaching its previous all-time high of $126,000 by the end of the year.
