Ethereum Price Rises on Institutional Inflows Amid Hegotá Upgrade
Ethereum's price has shown resilience in recent days, trading at $2,456.55 and marking a 1.01% gain for the day. This comes as institutional demand continues to drive Ethereum adoption.
A significant influx of capital into U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs saw over $1 billion in net new capital between August 17 and August 27, with BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHA) at the forefront. The total net inflows for August 2026 reached a record $1.42 billion, reinforcing investor demand.
The inclusion of EIP-8141 in the upcoming Hegotá upgrade has also strengthened network utility and support for Ethereum's price. On a technical front, ETH remains above its key moving averages and Ichimoku Kijun level at $2,449 acts as immediate support.
As such, analysts expect Ethereum to consolidate within a range of $2,420 to $2,526 over the next 1-3 trading days. With a 65% probability of an upward move, Ethereum is poised for continued growth amidst ongoing institutional demand and improved technical positioning.
