Ethereum Price Struggles to Break Above $2,800
Ethereum's price has been hovering around $2,725, with a small uptick of 1.5% over the past 24 hours after failing to hold above $2,800 earlier this week.
The rejection has left traders debating whether this is a healthy pullback or the start of something more ominous.
Despite the retreat, U.S. spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) pulled in roughly $576 million across four sessions between September 21 and September 24, while institutions kept buying, but retail momentum stalled.
The broader market isn't helping, with total crypto market capitalization falling 2.9% to around $2.95 trillion in the same 24-hour window, dragging most large-cap tokens lower alongside Ethereum's stumble at resistance.
