Ethereum Price Stuck Near $2,680 as Bulls Wait for Breakout
Ethereum's price remains stuck near $2,680 after yet another failed attempt to break above the $2,800 area.
This has led to a stalemate between improving institutional demand and a key resistance zone that has repeatedly capped the rally.
CoinCodex data shows Ethereum up about 2.4% over seven days, despite a modest slip in value over the latest 24 hours.
ETH has tested the $2,800 region several times without securing a convincing daily close above it, making its next move relatively clear: reclaiming the upper-$2,700s and holding above $2,800 before the bullish case toward $3,000 strengthens.
The $2,800 level is not just a psychological barrier but an active supply zone, according to recent market coverage. ETH has failed to close above it despite multiple attempts, with its recent push to around $2,804 only reinforcing this idea.
Despite the rejection, ETF demand remains supportive of the bull case, with SoSoValue showing roughly $66 million of daily net inflows into U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs and total ETF assets around $17.7 billion.
