Ethereum Price Surges on Whale Buying and Institutional Demand
Ethereum's price prediction remains bullish as whales continue to stack ETH and institutional demand for ETFs surges. The asset has seen significant price movements in recent days, with a 17.7% increase in 24 hours to $2,275.94. This comes on the heels of a strong recovery from the lower end of its trading range between $1,932.66 and $2,318.66.
The whale activity has been notable, with Lookonchain reporting that wallet address 0x2d59 withdrew another 30,000 ETH worth around $67.42 million from Binance, adding to the $237.7 million withdrawn over the past three weeks. Abraxas Capital also withdrew 18,000 ETH valued at approximately $39.56 million from Binance.
Institutional flows have provided another source of activity for Ethereum's market, with U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs recording total daily net inflows of $189.15 million on August 19. BlackRock's ETHA led the way with $122.12 million in inflows, followed by Fidelity's FETH and Grayscale's Ethereum ETF.
