Ethereum Price Target Sees $8,600, But Short-Term Focus on Breaking $2,800
Ethereum's price has been a subject of interest among analysts and investors. One such analyst, Brandt, recently shared his take on Ethereum's potential future price. In a chart shared by Brandt, he pointed to an eventual target around $8,674.50 for CME Ether futures, with the technical setup becoming relevant only after Ethereum clears roughly $5,000.
This would represent more than a 3x gain from Ethereum's current price of around $2,688. However, Brandt emphasizes that reaching $5,000 would already require an increase of roughly 86%. In the short term, Ethereum has been struggling to break through the $2,775-$2,825 resistance area.
Our latest analysis identified $2,800 as a key short-term breakout level. If momentum holds, we could see a move toward $3,050. This means Brandt's $8,600 call should be treated as a long-term conditional target, not Ethereum's next destination.
