Ethereum Price Targets $2,000 as Regulatory Expectations Support Risk Appetite
Ethereum's price has been steadily rising, with many predicting it could reach $2,000. Michaël van de Poppe stated that ETH could break above this level after two months of consolidation, provided there is renewed strength against Bitcoin and a favorable business cycle.
The immediate confirmation level for a breakout above $2,000 is the 0.03 ETH/BTC ratio, according to Daan Crypto Trades. This would indicate capital rotating from Bitcoin towards Ethereum-based assets.
However, there are still risks associated with a potential breakout, including a rejection below $2,000, which could send prices back down to around $1,580. A deeper breakdown could expose the $1,500 level, as cited by Ted Pillows and Kalshi traders.
