The price of Ethereum on October 3, 2026, at 7am EDT was the subject of a prediction market offered by Robinhood Derivatives. The contract resolved the outcome based on CF Benchmarks' Real Time Index (RTI) prices. Sixty RTI prices were collected at the last minute before expiration, and the official value was the average of these prices.
The contract had several price targets: above $2,545 would pay out 91 cents per contract, while a price above $2,540 or $2,555 would result in a payout of 60 cents per contract. A price above $2,675 paid out 98 cents per contract, and above $2,760 paid out 3 cents per contract.
