Ethereum Price Volatility: Institutional Demand Keeps Hope Alive
Ethereum (ETH) had a brief but intense run-up to nearly $2,804 before falling back into the upper-$2600s. This puts ETH in a precarious position between support around $2,600-$2,660 and resistance from approximately $2,775 to $2,825.
Despite the slowing price momentum, institutional demand remains strong, with U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs recording $576 million in net inflows over four sessions, starting on September 21. This is a promising sign for ETH's future performance.
Ethereum has made significant technical improvements in its recent structure, clearing the $2,500-$2,550 region that had previously held back advances. However, the latest attempt above $2,800 failed to hold, making the $2,775-$2,825 area an immediate test for ETH.
The continued institutional demand and tight exchange supply suggest that investors remain confident in Ethereum's prospects, even with its current price struggles. If ETH can reclaim $2,800 and establish support above it, $3,000-$3,050 becomes the next logical zone.
