Ethereum Rebounds Amid Fed Rate Hike, ETF Outflows
Ethereum's price has recovered to around $2,445 after briefly dipping below $2,400 in response to recent market pressure. The Federal Reserve's interest rate hike and significant ETF outflows contributed to the decline, but Ethereum managed to regain its footing.
The Fed raised rates by 25 basis points to a 3.75%, 4.00% range, tightening financial conditions and reducing speculative liquidity that impacts Ethereum and other risk assets. U.S. spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs saw combined outflows of approximately $520 million, with BlackRock's ETHA ETF experiencing the largest withdrawals.
Ethereum is currently trading at Rp43.843.461 on Pluang, showing a 3.70% gain in the last day. The market remains active, with a 63% buy order ratio and a typical hold time of 106 days.
