Ethereum's native cryptocurrency, ETH, saw a rebound in its USD value following the US midterm elections. This recovery coincided with a notable shift in investor sentiment, as spot Ether ETFs recorded $53.04 million in net inflows on Wednesday, November 4. This marked the end of a seven-session outflow streak that had seen $657 million withdrawn from these funds.

The inflows were led by BlackRock’s ETHA ETF, which attracted $32.8 million, followed by Fidelity’s FETH with $19.24 million. The positive momentum in ETF inflows suggests a renewed interest in Ethereum among institutional investors.

Meanwhile, Ethereum’s upcoming Glamsterdam upgrade is currently undergoing tests. The upgrade aims to enhance block capacity and efficiency, which could further strengthen the network's performance. Active addresses and staking activity remain robust, with large holders continuing to accumulate ETH, indicating strong confidence in the asset.

Looking ahead, Ethereum’s roadmap includes significant upgrades targeting post-quantum security protections by 2029. The Lean upgrades, set to begin with the I* fork, will introduce features like leanVM and Lean transactions, followed by proofs, data sampling, and PCS in subsequent forks. The transition to these advanced features is expected to be completed by the L fork.
