Ethereum Reclaims $2,700 as Bitcoin Surges to $85,000
Ethereum has reclaimed $2,700 for the first time since January 2026. The asset is trading at $2,716.86 after a 5.7% gain in 24 hours.
According to CoinGecko data, ETH has gained 9.2% over the past week and 13% over the past month.
This move comes as Bitcoin climbs to the $85,000 mark, lifting the wider crypto market with it.
The rally is happening despite two developments that typically weigh on prices: the US Senate voting against the CLARITY Act and the Federal Reserve raising interest rates by 25 basis points to fight inflation.
