Ethereum Reserves Crash to Multi-Year Low Amid Record Staking Rate

Ethereum reserves on crypto exchanges have hit a multi-year low of 14.88 million ETH, according to data from CryptoQuant.

This represents a decline of nearly 6.42 million ETH since July 2025, with many of these tokens being withdrawn to personal wallets, institutional custody solutions, or staking contracts.

The reduction in available supply comes as Ethereum staking hits a record high at 35.91% of the circulating supply, with approximately 43.1 million ETH currently locked up.

This level far exceeds the 32% threshold reached in May and strengthens the thesis of a structurally scarcer digital asset in the crypto market.
