Ethereum Soars on ETF Inflows, $3,000 Target Within Reach
Ethereum's price has been steadily increasing over the past few days, reaching $2,717.02 at 13:09 UTC on September 25th, according to CoinGecko and confirmed by Coinbase and Kraken.
One of the main factors driving this increase is the return of ETF inflows, with net inflows landing every day from September 21st to 24th. On September 24th alone, $66.01 million was added to US spot ether ETFs, with no funds recording an outflow that day.
This influx of capital has helped keep Ethereum's price above the crucial level of $2,672, which analysts had been watching as a key benchmark for further price increases. If Ethereum can hold above this level, it could open up the $2,950 to $3,000 range.
However, the rise in Ethereum's price is not without its challenges. The 10-year Treasury yield has reached a 19-year high of 5.11%, which puts pressure on non-yielding assets like Ethereum. Additionally, the Federal Reserve's upcoming meeting in October could bring further rate hikes and increased yields.
For now, Ethereum's price remains supported by the ETF inflows, but traders are advised to watch the daily prints closely for any signs of a break in this trend. If the streak breaks and Ethereum loses its support at $2,530-$2,540, it could trigger a bearish scenario.
