Ethereum, Solana, and Arbitrum Poised for Rebound as Catalysts Kick In
Three leading cryptocurrencies, Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH), Solana (CRYPTO: SOL), and Arbitrum (CRYPTO: ARB), are expected to rebound from their recent downturns due to new catalysts and growth drivers.
Ethereum's upcoming upgrade, Glamsterdam, is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026. This upgrade will increase the gas limit on the network, making it cheaper for complex calculations like those required for smart contracts. The increased scalability and lower transaction costs are expected to attract more AI agents to the network, generating significant fees and economic activity.
Solana is also vying to attract AI agents with its low transaction costs and fast speeds. The chain's supply will tighten soon due to a governance vote that passed in August 2026, reducing issuance by 18.9 million coins over six years. This move should positively impact the coin's valuation.
Arbitrum is experiencing a resurgence thanks to Robinhood Markets' new Robinhood Chain, which runs on Arbitrum's technology. The license requires Robinhood Chain to send 10% of its net revenue to the Arbitrum ecosystem. In September 2025, Arbitrum earned $1.6 million from chain revenue alone.
