Ethereum Stabilizes, But Buyers Must Conquer Key Resistance Zone
Ethereum's price has stabilized after its sharp correction from yearly highs, but buyers must overcome several major resistance levels before a broader trend reversal can be confirmed.
The daily chart shows ETH consolidating just above the descending channel's higher boundary, with both the 100-day and 200-day moving averages currently converging around $1.95K and $2.05K respectively.
A breakout above the current resistance zone of $1.9K to $2K could pave the way toward the next resistance zone at $2.4K, but a breakdown below $1.5K would be critical for ETH's recovery.
The 4-hour chart shows Ethereum completing a breakout from a short-term descending channel and consolidating below the $2.1K resistance area, with the recent recovery keeping the price within an ascending channel developed since early June.
