Ethereum Stablecoin Supply Hits Record $180B Amid Institutional Adoption Surge
The total value of stablecoins held on the Ethereum network has reached an all-time high of $180 billion, according to blockchain analytics firm Token Terminal. This milestone marks a significant increase in institutional adoption of the Ethereum network, with major financial institutions such as BlackRock and JPMorgan launching tokenized funds on the platform.
The growth of stablecoins on Ethereum is also reflected in its market share, which now accounts for 60% of total stablecoin value across all networks. Real-world asset metrics provider RWA(dot)xyz places the network's current stablecoin figure slightly lower at $168 billion, while confirming Ethereum as the dominant network with a 56% market share.
Experts predict that this trend will continue, with approximately $1.7 trillion in value expected to migrate on-chain across all networks over the next four years. Token Terminal also projects that Ethereum could attract $850 billion in new flows by 2030 if it sustains roughly 470% growth in that period.
