Ethereum Stuck Below $1,900 as Resistance Levels Prove Elusive
Ethereum's price has been stuck below $1,900 since late July, unable to break through key resistance levels between $1,887 and $1,918. On August 5, Ethereum hovered near $1,868, still facing a tough challenge in surpassing the $1,918-$1,940 range.
The current price of Ethereum is also influenced by EIP-8361, a proposal to burn validator rewards progressively as staking increases. However, this proposal lacks immediate price impact and is currently being debated among Ethereum developers.
According to analysts, the next critical move for Ethereum is to surpass the $1,918-$1,940 range, which could trigger bullish momentum toward $2,000. On the other hand, failure to hold support near $1,800 could lead to further declines.
