Ethereum Surges 1.57% as Crypto Market Recovery Fails to Boost Trading Volume
Ethereum's price has gained 1.57% in the past 24 hours, reaching $1,880.58 and outperforming Bitcoin's 1.01% rise. This increase comes as part of a broader recovery in the crypto market, with total market value rising 1.07% to approximately $2.2 trillion.
The movement also coincides with traders shifting capital towards altcoins, with the Altcoin Season Index increasing by 5.45% to 58 within 24 hours. Ethereum often benefits from this rotation due to its size and liquidity.
However, despite the gain, trading volume fell 42.55%, indicating lower participation during the rebound. Reduced volume can limit follow-through unless buyers return near the current resistance zone.
