Ethereum Surges Ahead as Major Cryptocurrencies Lag Behind
According to recent data, Ethereum has been leading major cryptocurrencies in growth over the past 90 days, rising about 57%. This outpaced Solana's increase of 48%, XRP's growth of 37%, and Bitcoin's rise of 36%. For instance, if you had invested $1,000 in Ethereum at the beginning of July, you would have around $1,573 by the end of September. In contrast, Solana is currently priced at $118, about 60% lower than its all-time high.
Bitcoin has shown resilience despite trailing behind other major coins, trading at $83,893 - roughly 33% below its record high of $126,080. This makes it an appealing option for those prioritizing value protection over aggressive gains. Meanwhile, XRP is trading at $1.49, approximately 59% below its peak of $3.65 in July 2025.
Among smaller coins, NEAR Protocol stands out with a year-to-date increase of about 230%. However, it currently trades at $5.11 - 75% below its record high from January 2022. Arbitrum and Zcash have also performed well, rising 165% and 75%, respectively.
