Ethereum Surges Past $2,700 as Two Whales Pour in $106M

Two significant investors, known as 'whales' in crypto circles, have collectively invested $106.4 million into Ethereum (ETH) over the past five days.

The first whale, identified as Hyperliquid, swapped 1,107 BTC for 34,422 ETH and staked every coin, indicating a long-term commitment to the cryptocurrency.

The second investor, 0x4cee, made smaller but notable moves, transferring $32.17 million USDC to Binance on September 20 and pulling back 7,567 ETH at a higher price.

This surge in investment has driven Ethereum's price above $2,700 for the first time since January 31, with a corresponding increase of over 6% in 24 hours and 11% in 30 days.
