Ethereum Transaction Volumes Soar by 68% Amid Institutional Revival
Ethereum's transaction volumes have surged in recent months, following a broader upward trend in crypto traders' sentiment. The network processed $203.9 million in transactions in Q2, representing a 68.4% increase from last year.
Total activities on the Ethereum network are up significantly, with throughput hitting 25.9 transactions per second. This growth is largely attributed to institutional investors returning to the market, as well as retail users shifting their focus towards long-term holdings.
A Token Terminal report shows that the number of addresses holding ETH has reached an all-time high above 312.1 million, indicating growing confidence among the community. Network staking has also increased by 32% over the past 12 months.
