Ethereum Triangle Breakout Triggers 3,000 Price Target
Ethereum is poised for a potential breakout above $2,550, according to crypto analyst Ali Martinez. A triangle consolidation pattern on the 12-hour chart is drawing attention from both retail and institutional investors after spot ETF inflows surged to $216.41 million in a single session.
The current technical structure bears a close resemblance to the formation that triggered a 31% surge in just three days, and Martinez emphasized that if Ethereum's weekly close comes in above $2,550, 'the scenario of a rise toward $3,000 could gain strength.'
Market observer Wealthmanager noted that Ethereum has already broken through a key resistance band between $2,300 and $2,400, while Bitcoin remains stuck below its own long-term resistance.
