Ethereum developers have launched Plataberget, a short-lived public testnet designed for Glamsterdam, the network's next upgrade. The testnet includes about 10 EIPs (Ethereum Improvement Proposals) that are expected to be implemented in Glamsterdam, such as ePBS, Block-Level Access Lists, and an increase to the maximum contract size.

Plataberget is intended for application developers, tooling providers, and stakers to test these changes ahead of mainnet deployment. The launch date for Plataberget will be determined during Monday's ACDT call, which suggests that development on Glamsterdam is progressing as planned.
