Ethereum Verifiability Unlocks Wider DeFi Possibilities, Stani Kulechov Says
Ethereum's verifiability is being touted as a game-changer for decentralized finance (DeFi) by Stani Kulechov, founder and CEO of Avara. According to him, this feature can be used beyond its traditional smart contract execution environment to develop new applications in DeFi while minimizing trust.
Kulechov has been actively involved in the development of DeFi regulation, particularly with regards to the CLARITY Act, which he sees as a possible breakthrough for DeFi regulation in the US. His enthusiasm for Ethereum's verifiability is evident, and he believes it can unlock wider possibilities for DeFi.
However, his recent report on EIP-8363, a proposal to slash Ethereum yield, was rejected from the Hegotá fork, which may impact his plans for DeFi development. Nevertheless, Kulechov's focus on regulatory and technical changes within the DeFi space remains unwavering.
