A significant event has unfolded in the Ethereum market as a large investor, known for its long-term holding strategy, has sold off a substantial portion of its Ethereum holdings at a loss exceeding $19 million.

The whale with wallet address 0x7C5a purchased Ethereum between February 2022 and March 2023 at an average price of $2,723. It had been staking these assets to secure the network and earn passive income for nearly three years.

However, recent data reveals that this investor has transferred 7,323 ETH to the cryptocurrency exchange Kraken to put them up for sale, resulting in a total value loss of approximately $13.96 million.

Market experts consider this type of loss-selling by large investors as 'capitulation,' a sign that the Ethereum price is approaching its bottom.
