Ethereum Whale Unloads $300M Worth of Ether to Bitfinex

A significant Ethereum whale has been transferring large amounts of Ether to Bitfinex over the past week, totaling around $300 million in value. This sale is attributed to a long-term holder or institution that had kept the assets for approximately three years.

The recent transfer was valued at $83.03 million, while the full week's transfers represented a significant profit of about $72.83 million for the seller. Notably, 30,825 ETH were moved in just nine hours.

This whale had previously withdrawn 130,592 ETH from Bitfinex in 2023 at an average price of $2,026 per token. This sale highlights a major transfer by a single long-term holder or institution.
