Ethereum Whales Return to Buying as ETF Inflows Hit Fourth Straight Day
Ethereum's price hovered around $2,680 on Thursday, up 0.40% in 24 hours, as large ETH holders returned to buying after a week of selling. According to CryptoQuant data, wallets with 10K-100K ETH purchased 260K ETH since Saturday, following the previous week's sell-off triggered by the Clarity Act's stall in the Senate.
Smaller holders showed different behavior, with those holding between 1,000 and 10,000 ETH experiencing a small 50,000 ETH sell-off over the past two days. Meanwhile, investors with 100-1,000 ETH have continued selling, offloading about 140,000 ETH since the Clarity Act news broke.
The demand for US spot Ethereum ETFs remained strong, with a fourth consecutive day of net inflows totaling $104.6 million on Wednesday. BlackRock's ETHA fund led the pack with $50.8 million, accounting for nearly half of the day's total inflow.
